Head of the River Results 2019

Head of the River Summary:

 
The St Peter’s College Boat Club saw great results on Saturday, including outstanding results in the 7/8 division, with victories in the A, C, D, E, F, G and H coxed quad. The club also achieved several victories in the 8/9 division with the B, C, E, F and G coxed quad’s coming out on top. Whilst the Seniors dominated achieving victories in the School Boy 1st VIII, 2nd VIII, 3rd VIII and 4th VIII (with the 3rds and 4ths racing in the 2nd VIII division). The First IV came in 2nd after Pembroke. The intermediate squad was competitive in their division, with a high standard of racing on show.

The boat club achieved a total of 16 victories for the day. Saints also made history in SA by boating four senior eights in the Head of the River and by having boats come 1st and 2nd in the 2nd VIII race.

The Blackmore Club would like to congratulate all boys, coaches, staff and parents involved in making this day such a success. A particular mention goes to the tireless work of our Director of Rowing, Mr Tim Hennessy for this outstanding organisation throughout the day!
