Supporting the St Peter’s College Boat Club through donations

Support for the St Peter’s College Boat Club is essential for the Club to continue its long-standing tradition of success and individual achievement.

For over a century, rowing has been a source of pride and tradition at St Peter’s College. The expertise, dedication, emotion and resourcing invested by our School community in this program reflect its importance to both current and past students. We have enjoyed consistent success in developing our young men and in establishing the School’s reputation in the sport, both locally and nationally, with many of our rowers achieving notable success on the international stage.

To ensure continued success, a tax-deductible donation can be directed in the following ways:

Blackmore Club Projects:
The Blackmore Club’s role is to support the St Peter's College Boat Club, as part of that support the Blackmore Club committee has established the Honour Board Project to display the 1st VIII crews from the 1920s to the present day.

History must record the achievements of those members of the St Peter’s College Boat Club who, through grit and determination, represented their School and Club with distinction. Those achievements are recorded on the honour boards that line the upstairs area of the boat shed. Considerable work is required to update the boards from the 1920s to the present day which is why the committee is seeking the support of former rowers, past and current supporters of the Boat Club, and the wider rowing and old scholar community at St Peter’s to make tax-deductible donations to the Honour Board Project via the Australian Sports Foundation which can be made via the linke below

Project Quick Start:

Quick Start is a St Peter’s College initiative designed to enable the renewal of the entire fleet on an estimated 15-year cycle, with each cycle requiring approximately $3 million in revenue, or $200,000 per annum. This project is dedicated to boat replacement and does not cover other financial requirements of the rowing program. Tax-deductible donations can be made via the link below.

The Digby Fund:
The Digby Fund accepts donations to build its capital base, with annual contributions made to the Boat Club to assist with various projects. Contributions are drawn from investment earnings, up to 50% of the annual returns. Donations can be made directly to the Digby Fund through the Quick Start link. Please note, when making a donation, specify that you would like your contribution allocated to the Digby Fund.
