Who should attend: Rowing Old Scholars (with a special focus on anniversary years 2016, 2006, 1996, 1986, 1976), past and present coaches, current rowing families, and supporters of Saints rowing.
About the evening: This annual gathering brings the rowing community together on the eve of Head of the River - an opportunity to reconnect, share stories, and celebrate the generations of Saints who have been part of the program in a relaxed Boatshed setting.
Special recognition: This year we will honour founding Blackmore Club PresidentDon Sarah AM, who is retiring from the committee after more than 35 years of service. Don’s contribution to Saints rowing and rowing in South Australia has been profound - from mentoring generations of oarsmen to playing a leading role in developing the West Lakes course to international FISA standard, helping bring the 1998 World Masters Rowing Championships to Adelaide.
This year’s event will be a meaningful opportunity for those who rowed with Don, were coached by him, or were influenced by his leadership to come together and recognise his lasting impact on the rowing community.
